Today the UK government let us know how they are going to spend on Edu.  This is what I got from it..

  1. Budget raise from £35bn to £39bn
  2. Schools will have more autonomy
  3. £2.5bn pupil premium – supports disadvantaged kids, includes 15 hourr per week entitlement
  4. Surestart is protected
  5. 15 free hours for disadvantaged 2 year olds
  6. DFE lost 1% buget
  7. Central admin lost 1/3 budget
  8. Phase out BSF
